We knew it was a possibility when Homer revealed that Ian Laperriere was still experiencing post-concussion symptoms in late September, months after taking a shot to the head in last year's playoffs. Today, rumblings out of Flyers camp indicate that Lappy could likely miss the upcoming season, and it's even possible he may have to retire. It's hard to recall a player who became so popular with the fans in only one season, even more remarkable given that Lappy is a checking line forward and penalty killer. We hope he hasn't played his last game as a Flyer, but above all, we hope Lappy has a full recovery no matter what his next move is. More as we hear it.
