Roy Halladay Opens the 2010 Phillies Playoff Run With a NO-HITTER!!

If there was any doubt Roy Halladay could carry his trademark regular season dominance into his first playoff start, I think we can safely say it's a non-issue. Halladay, hurling game 1 of the Phillies 2010 postseason run, went out and threw a no-hitter against the Reds. The playoff no-hitter was only the second in Major League Baseball history, the first since Don Larsen accomplished the feat way back in 1956. Of course, Doc already has a perfect game under his belt this season, and he added an RBI single tonight for good measure. Simply an amazing night for the Phillies and their fans, from the screaming crowd at Citizens Bank Park to the legions glued to their TVs around the Delaware Valley and beyond. Could not be prouder to be Phillies fans as we listen to Harry Kalas lead the crowd in High Hopes! Halladay missed a perfect game by only a walk, dominating the Reds from the opening pitch, but everything about this night felt absolutely perfect anyway. more pics after the jump, and more thoughts on the game later... celebrating!!!
