Fundraising - Knowing About Your Donors.


Among other things, the donors believe in supporting them. You need answers, feedback and insight on the road. You want to play an important role in their case, and they want assurance that their donations are used effectively and efficiently. And, of course, they have to deal with kindness and respect - to thank and appreciate.

The most successful fundraiser that help donors fulfill their vision of what they feel God has given them to do with their money. Donors are stewards, and your work as a fundraiser for them to fulfill their stewardship role. To do this successfully, it is invaluable to learn from the donors themselves, what they think that every fundraiser should know:

About Relations

- Think of your donors trust God.
- Help your donors realize God's plan for their lives (and not just for their money!).
- Aid donors can be found in their performance.
- Relations, resources.
- Only one application per year for the fund.
- Learn about the passion of the potential donor.

About

- Recognizing that the general public is inundated with requests for funding.
- Once a donor is a gift, not immediately possible to half chances.
- Donors usually start with a small donation and increasing the quantity, as they know and trust in love.
- Do not send gifts to try to feel obliged to the donor.
- Knowledge is often based on your level of commitment and enthusiasm.
- Ten goes to the church - to charity, is not part of the tenth.
- Explain why the donor should be, and explain the positive results (this does not mean that the tax benefits).

- Just because some people do not give, does not mean that they are not about you or your business.
- Do not take "no" personally.
- Not everyone can do everything.
- Not everyone with a posture, but you can sow seeds that will ultimately lead to a changed heart.
- Maintain a positive, but modest, Outlook.
- Remember that you never tell your last dollar donor.
